Our Work

Our work at Higher Ground Education is focused on providing educational opportunities to underserved communities. Through our projects, we have helped students from all walks of life to achieve their goals and realize their full potential. We are passionate about our work, and we are excited to share our recent successes with you.

Jonathan

Meet Jonathan, a twelve-year-old student at St. Francis de Sales. He is in Class 6 and enjoys reading, playing soccer, and riding his bicycle. Jonathan is just one of the many students that benefit from the support of Higher Ground Education.

Beatrice

Meet Beatrice, a eight-year-old student at St. Francis de Sales School in Class 3. She loves to read, sing, and jump rope, and we are so proud to have her as part of the Higher Ground Education community!

Thomas

We are proud to support students like Thomas in Class 5 at Destiny Pre and Primary School. Our focus is on providing a quality education that instills a love for learning and equips students with the skills they need to succeed in life.

Precious

We are thrilled to introduce Precious, a bright and enthusiastic student at Imbaseni Peace English Medium School in Tanzania. In Class 3, Precious enjoys exploring new topics, singing, and dancing. Higher Ground Education believes in empowering each student to explore their passions and interests and grow into confident learners and leaders.

Maryjane

At Higher Ground Education, we strive to provide students with the best education possible. Meet Maryjane, a Form 4 student at Faraja Seminary Secondary School, who is achieving academic success with the help of our programs. Join us in our mission to create a better world through education.

Priya

Meet Priya, who enjoys playing games with her friends, cooking and singing. She is in Class 1 at Joy's Millennium Academy School. We are thrilled to support Priya as she begins her educational journey!

Hagai

We are so happy to introduce Hagai to you. He is a student at Imbaseni Secondary School. He is in Form Two and enjoys reading, keeping the livestock, and soccer. Our goal at Higher Ground Education is to equip young people with the skills to succeed. And we are excited that Hagai is one of them!

Rehema

We are so happy to introduce Rehema who is a Form One student at Tanzania Adventist Secondary School. She enjoys reading stories, netball and singing gospel songs. We are happy that we can be a part of Rehema's secondary education.

Ibrahim

Introducing Ibrahim! He is one of the newest students that Higher Ground Education is supporting. Ibrahim attends the Institute of Rural Development Planning. He is pursuing a Certificate in Rural Development Planning. He enjoys being part of a leadership team, playing the piano and soccer. We are excited to have a student that is seeking a career path that will benefit those around him.

Anjela

Meet Anjela. She is a student at Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy. This is her first year enrolled in their Human Resource program. She enjoys singing, cooking and netball. We are excited to be able to provide her with the skills necessary to be able to be part of the Tanzania workforce.
